Poacher’s Landing Provincial Recreation Area is a self-registration campground located along the Athabasca River and includes six unserviced sites, a boat launch, a horse corral, and trails.

Adjacent to the La Biche River Wildland Provincial Park, there is a lot of wilderness to explore.
