Join Science Outreach – Athabasca as we welcome Pirkko Karvonen, filmmaker and director to Athabasca University. Pirkko will introduce one of her favorite films “Strings Across the Sky” by Pirkko Karvonen features Andrea Hansen – her life and work with people in the Canadian Arctic, Northern Ontario and Northern Alberta. The film deals with Hansen’s method of teaching and how our body has a memory that we develop with practice.
