SUMMARY:Writing Workshop with Sandra S.G. Wong
DESCRIPTION:“Plot-driven” and “character-driven” are often positioned as opposing methods of fiction writing. But why do these approaches to narrative need to be in opposition? This hands-on writing workshop with Sandra S.G. Wong takes participants through exercises designed to create compelling and plausible plots using detailed character creation. Whether participants are at the start of a writing project\, or somewhere in the murky middle\, this approach can help jumpstart new ideas and perspectives to get writers to The End. Participants are encouraged to bring a work in progress\, their thinking caps\, and whatever they need to take notes for themselves.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Worth Remembering Art Show
DESCRIPTION:What is worthwhile to remember? What could be slipping away as we progress into the next age? Consider the past of yourself\, your family\, your community\, your culture\, and your country. The book chosen for this year is called “In the Dark\, We Forget” and features Chloe Li\, who finds herself on the side of the highway with amnesia after she was involved in a horrific event involving her parents. She is struggling terribly to remember important details to unravel the mystery of what occurred and how it happened. This theme led us to the question of “What should WE work to remember in OUR lives?” \nA collection of works from local artists showcasing What is Worth Remembering Art Show. \n\n\n	Related
